which is gym is better? Gold's Gym or Planet Fitness?

I have been dieting for a while and lost some pounds but i want to increase how much i lose and how fast i lose it. so i came across the two gyms... gold's gym and planet fitness what i want to know is which one is cheaper? do all gyms have contracts and cancellation fees? who has better services and quality. also if there is a person who has a membership with these gyms have they ever charged you more then what you signed up for? and how much more...thank you
