Sooo, here's the deal: I submitted my app to target and taco bell about a month or so ago, well, I got a call from Target the day before yesterday for a job interview so I went in yesterday and not only had my 1st interview BUT my 2nd and was offered a job at a pay scale of $8.50 an hr, however while waiting on my 2nd interview I had a call from a manager with Taco Bell who asked me if I was still interested in working at taco bell as a shift manager bc I have many years of experience, so I told him sure...He set up an interview for this friday. Note: I took my drug test with target and am guarenteed the job, but wanted to see how much taco bell would offer me, So, my question is...Which job is worth the time and money??? I can use all the advice I can get to make my decision....(The good and the bad of each job) I know there are many of you who have worked at one or the other...thanks!

TARGET no need to even think about it...Yuck who wants to work at some stinky/greasy place like taco bell. @ target you got shopping deals, you get to get things for sale

You haven't given enough information for a recommendation or pros/cons - for Target, you've said what they would pay you but not what the position is, and for Taco Bell, you've said what the position is but not what they'll pay you.

Still, I can at least tell you this: if the pay is similar, and you are planning to get a better job down the road, then go for whichever job will look better on a resume. I think Target is a more impressive looking employer than Taco Bell on a resume, but it also depends on the position; for instance being a shift manager at Taco Bell is probably better on a resume than being a stocker at Target.
