Which knows about gravity, Christians or atheists?

Why, oh why, do you want me to revisit my grade 12 physics class?

Gravitation refers to the attraction of items of mass towards one another, I believe. This explains why planets of larger mass such as Jupiter have more gravitational force than Earth. The moon is lighter in mass than earth, so an astronaut will float around instead of being pulled toward the moon.

An object of mass exhibits a gravitational field, this is the deepest we can go as the presumed associated particle for this field (The higgs-boson) Has not (yet) been found. Because God is hiding it.

I just know that something pulls matter towards large objects. If this due to a force or lack of a force, I'm not sure. I just know that the more mass an object has, the more likely it is to have other objects come towards it.

Gravity is a force of attraction between all bodies of mass in the universe. The greater the mass of one body, the greater the force of attraction between it and smaller bodies.

The actual theory is fairly mathematically complex. I am not going to recount the full thing here, but the formulae are readily available. As for observation evidence? Drop a rock; the reason it falls toward the Earth is because Earth is the largest body of mass in closest proximity to the rock.
