That's probably affected by what team they're drafted to as much as anything...
Gabbert went to the Jaguars, which has never been a great offense in a non-football town.
Cam Newton went to the Panthers, which is a small, but slightly better football town with no history of real success.
Jake Locker went to the Titans, and Andy Dalton went to the Bengals. Both of those teams have room to pass for good stats.

Locker has the most upside and is going to be very good but then again maybe I'm biased GO TITANS

I have to say Gabbert. I was a WASHINGTON FAN SO I WANT TO SUPPORT lOCKER, BUT I DONT THINK LOCKER CAN DO MUCH

Most likely, Christian Ponder with the Vikings. Ponder has a legitimate chance to start the 1st game, and the Vikings have plenty of talent around him, which will help, as they may not ask him to do much. The Vikings have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball, and their defensive front 7 is still pretty good.

Much like everyone else, I believe that Carolina wasted their pick on Newton, making him the 3rd quarterback they have drafted in the last 2 years, with a chance to select Andrew Luck in next year's draft as well, really makes this a bad pick. While Newton has huge upside, he has way too many questions, and will struggle to pick up NFL playbooks as well as read NFL defenses. The lockout probably hurts him more than any other player.

Blaine Gabbert, Ryan Mallet, and Colin Kaepernick may not see the field in their rookie season, and I don't think Locker will see it until closer to the end of the season, if the Titans are struggling to compete.

Dalton may see action immediately, if Carson Palmer isn't traded or decides to retire. Outside of Ponder, he may be the only other rookie quarterback to have a positive impact, but I think the Bengals are heading in the wrong direction again as a franchise, as they continue to make questionable personnel decisions, and keeping Marvin Lewis was a mistake.

So I think Ponder will have a solid season, but will most likely have the best rookie year simply by default.

Everyone expects Newton to be a bust and because of that I'm tempted to pick him. However, it's a toss up between Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, and Andy Dalton. Locker gets Chris Johnson, but no real proven WR target. Ponder gets Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin. Dalton gets A.J. Green, but toughest division. I'm leaning toqards Locker because of the defenses he'll play and the fact that he was supposed to be the top pick a few years ago. I'll take Cam second, though. Atlanta didn't do much to improve their defense. The Saints dd...barely. Tampa Bay's is a tad old. Don't be surprised to see Newton do well.

Ah, a trick question. Based on your given choices, the answer is 'none of the above.'

Christian Ponder may not win Rookie of the Year, but he will be the best rookie quarterback. He's a genius and is the most pro-ready quarterback. He's already got the team playbook which he'll have memorized, plus look at the Vikings offense: Percy Harvin and a healthy Sidney Rice, Adrian Peterson, a new two-tight-end set, and a new offensive coordinator who helped Matt Ryan succeed. The only question is if the O-Line can give him time.

I think Newton will be a bust, Locker will be mediocre, Gabbert won't play much because they don't need him right away, and Dalton could be good. Kaepernick may or may not get much time - 49ers sound like they are sticking with Alex Smith for now. Mallet won't see any time in his rookie year behind Brady.

Cam Newton because he doesn't have to suffer playing the Giants Defense.

i am a niners fan so i want kaepernick to have the best, but i think locker will have the most success in their rookie years. the titans are a more complete team than the others. dalton may have the next best, if his recievers stay. ryan mallett was drafted in the best situation, he will sit and learn from one of if not the best qb's in the league right now. newton will be another vince young in my opinion. gabbert got drafted by the wrong team, i think he is the best qb taken but other than MJD and Marcedes Lewis there is nothing else there for him.
