Hello there!
My parents are going to buy my sister Carla a cell phone as a graduation present and as a communication tool for her in high school. My job is to choose a phone that could meet Janine's, mom's, and dad's needs and requirements. The cost of the phone should be around 6,000 Php or 120 Euro. My sister wants a phone that excels in music, design and gaming, and she prefers hardware keys over tiny touch screens. Our choices narrowed down to the Nokia C3 and Nokia C5. At first we were on the Nokia C5's side for its comfortable keys, classic looks, decent camera, fast CPU, unlimited GPS service, and wide range of downloadable games with Symbian, but me and my parents eventually leaned on the C3 for its lower price, bigger screen, slightly higher audio volume, and WLAN support. WLAN is our only means of internet connection and we have hotspots in our home and throughout our city. Carla visits Facebook frequently so I told her to go for C3, but she dislikes the phone's QWERTY block design, cheap camera, and the limited application support of S40. She says that she is uninterested in using the internet with the small display of a phone and would rather use the laptop. As a tech geek, I am inclined to the Nokia C5, but its lack of a Wi-Fi receiver is a real downer. So far, I concluded that the C3 would be better for Carla for her communication needs, but she would have more fun and happiness with the C5. Please advise us on our decision for Carla's first cell phone!
