Which one better Nokia's E52 or E71?

I've been a loyal Nokia customer and now looking for a new phone. My budget is around US$300.00.
I've grown to like E52 very much but I've read some disturbing comments on it from other users online. My next choice would be the old trustee E71 which is at exactly the same price with the E52.
Which one would be the better choice? Is getting E52 worth the risk that I'm buying a defective phone?

I don't actually know what the E52 is like..
But I have an E63 which is the lower model of E71 and basically exactly the same..
And I really like it.. It's got lots of memory.. Good features...
So yeah..
