Which part of cigarettes is harder to quit?

I am currently trying to quit and I need to know.. actual ex-smokers ONLY please. I have gone 24 hours and I keep reacing in my pockets for a lighter and a cig.. any advice?

I so feel your pain. I quit 3 months ago and it was ruff. I used gum, not nicorette ( I had tried that before and it didn't work). I think the hardest part is just thinking about it, and it seems like the more you think about it the more you want one. Stay busy, chew the heck out of some gum, sometimes the nicorette does take the edge off if you can afford it. I planted a garden and tried to stay away from any environment where smoking was happening, cause I seen one and I was gonna have one. I wish the best to you.

I have not bought a pack in over 3 months, and the other day I had an urge, so I (bad me) bummed one off someone at work. It was nasty. I think after you smoke so long you don't even realize how nasty they are. I couldn't even finish it.
