If you can give me any info you may have about these phones I would appreciate it. I will be using it for checking personal e-mail and some web browsing (google, etc.) and not for business use. I would like it to have speakerphone but none of the features are really a *MUST*. Please compare them with each other based on your experiences. For what it matters, I have Cingular/AT&T and these are the models I have narrowed it down to based on price and other factors.

Thanks for any input.

8800: You really shouldn't get this model unless you're going to be going places where cameras aren't allowed.

8300/8310/8320: This is what I would get if I were you. The 8310 has GPS and the 8320 has wifi. I'd get the 8320, but the 8310 might be more useful to people. It has a 2.0 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack for iPod headphones, and a really great keyboard. If I weren't on Verizon (I have the 8800) I'd get this phone. If you don't want GPS or Wifi, just get the 8300.

8700: This phone is old. Unless you're on a budget and are going to buy it used, don't get this phone.

Treos are ancient and you really shouldn't give them much consideration. The Palm operating system hasn't been updated significantly in years (which is why people report so many crashing), and the Treos are bulky and outdated in both hardware and software design.

I had a blackberry for a day and then exchanged it for a palm trio. On the blackberry that I had the keys on the front were just too small. Also I found the menus a bit confusing to navigate. I am much happier with the palm trio. If you are familiar with windows it is very easy to use. Its just like having a pocket computer. Also its proved to be very durable.
