Here's my dilemma, I'm getting a new phone and texting. The Sony Ericsson slider is the perfect size, yet the eternity has a touch screen.
Just to add to this, I have an iPod touch. So would u get another touch screen phone?

I would get the Eternity, I work for at&t and i love that phone to pieces! I just got it as a demo from the company. Samsung tends to withstand longer than Sony Ericsson too. Hope that helped!
