Which phone is better: LG cosmos touch or KIN TWOm?

I am upgrading to a phone this week (without data package) so I've narrowed my choices down to either the LG cosmos touch ($80) or the kin twom ($50). From people who owns/have owned these phones, please give me your input on how the phone works overall. I am the type of person who uses phones for calling, texting, and taking pictures. I do not need to connect to the internet or dl apps. I know that the kin two has a much better camera (8mp) than the cosmos (1.3mp). But as far as the texting and calling goes, which one is better??
*Also, if anyone knows about the kin two lacking the character count on the messaging, how do you know when your 160 characters is up? Since Verizon only limits 160 characters per text, I don't see how can you know when to stop besides counting each character...OR does the phone send the text in separate messages containing 160 characters each? This would be awesome, but I don't know any Verizon phones that do that anymore.

Well, my Motorola rival sends texts longer than 160 characters in seperate messages.
It's a year old
