Which pitcher was better? Roger Clemens or Christy Mathewson?

and why? Some people say Roger Clemens is the best pitcher of all time. Who was better and more dominate regardless of peds, Roger Clemens or Christy Mathewson?
 
I am actually good friends with Christy Mathewson. But I think that Roger Clemens is technically better. Roger Clemens has better stats, but Christy didn't take steroids. Christy is more respected than Roger Clemens though.
 
As a pitcher slight advantage to Clemens. As a credit to the game slight advantage Christy. As a credit to human race lol. Clemens as stated a scum bag having crashed from his faked Daddy of year I'm clean. Christy goes in Ted Williams class as one of great Americans that also played baseball.
