I'm looking to get SD capabilities on my newer version of my Playstation 3. And that's all I want! But when I search for an SD Card adapter for the PS3 on Ebay I'm bombarded with multiple confusing devices! Some are cheap, but some are expensive for just SD capabilities. So that's where I need you! Here are the products I have to choose from. Which one should I get? Keep in mind that I only want SD capabilities and a cheap price.
1 There's one called a USB Card Reader SD Pro Duo Memory Stick and it's only 8$ brand new! This might be the one unless there's some reason not to get this that you know of? But this one does have computer symbols all over it so I don't even know if it will work on a PS3! Will it work on my PS3 without the aid of a computer?
2 There's one called a Sony Playstation 3 PS3 3 Port USB HUB with SD Card Reader but it costs 12$ excluding shipping! However, this one looks to be more compatible than the first product because it doesn't look like it's designed specifically for a computer! It's designed specifically for a PS3. But does that make it more or less compatible than the last product?
3 This one is called a NYKO PS3 Media HUB with 3 USB Ports and Card Reader but it has so many unnecessary features when I only want one. Plus it's highly expensive! The most expensive one. The only way I'm getting this is if the other two won't work.
So which product is right for getting pictures on a PS3? Extra memory is definitely a plus along with SD capabilities as long as it's compatible with the PS3. Will any of the products not work right on a PS3? And do you know of one I should get that isn't on my list?
