Which sports bike? Suzuki 1999 GSX-R 600 or 2005 Katana 600?

Suzuki 1999 GSX-R 600 is yellow
or 2005 Katana 600 is red
Both have about 20k miles and both are around the same price. Which should I buy and why?

Condition and who owned it is more important than age and mileage, especially on a sportbike. If I had to guess, the Katana will be in better shape. In my experience the smaller gixxers attract certain types that can't afford a 1000 or 1300, are not mature, and generally mistreat them and do really dumb things like try to stunt. Its plausible a Katana owner would do the same, but I notice wannabes, posers, and all around d-bags gravitate to the gixxer 600.
 
A little more background info about you would be helpful.
If these 2 bike are your final chose go with Katana.
