My budget is around ~$150 for a 128/120 GB SSD

I'm looking for in terms of fast boot times, fast application load ups and some games, reliability, one that doesn't fail as much like some sandforce controllers.

The Sandisk Ultra has a sandforce controller, but some of them aren't as bad as the others such has OCZ, and the Samsung 470 has its own controller which is more reliable but slower.

And since black Friday is also coming up, should i just wait and save for a better one for about the same price?

the sandisk is faster, but if you really want speed, look at 60 or 90 gb ssds in that same price range or lower, they will be faster. For example, the Mushkin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe 60gb has 560 mb/s sequential read and 495 mb/s sequential write and 85,000 max 4k random write, so that will increase your boot speed more than the sandisk ultra, if you need those extra 60gb then you can use z68 ssd caching and put your os on the ssd.

I have the Samsung 128GB for 6 months now and I'm very happy

I have a 256gb Samsung 470 on my MacBook and an Intel 320 on my desktop and both have never given me any problems yet (over a year now).

Between Sandisk and Samsung, I'd pick Samsung for sure, my load time:

Bootup for Mac OS - 5 second
Bootup for Bootcamp Windows 7 - 10-12 seconds
Photoshop CS5 and Dreamweaver 5. 2-5 second
everything else, almost instant.

Shut down time,
instant < 2 seconds on MacOS
~3-5 seconds on Windows 7.

Since black friday is coming up, I'd wait and see if you can get any better deals. The FASTEST alternative to these are SATA III SSD (which are backward compatible) and run almost 2-3x faster on a SATA III board (150MB/s vs 500MB/s) than SATA II. Even if you only have SATA II, it'll still be faster.

You should get the Samsung 470, or the Crucial M4 128GB on black friday. They're both very reliable, and the M4 is a bit faster, but you don't really notice that in day to day use.
