Which type of TuneUp for 1994 Chrysler LHS?

I need a tuneup for my car, has 110,000 miles on it. The repairguy said I would have to bring it in for a look to see which "type" of tune up my style of car needed...

What did he mean, and how much should I expect the tuneup to cost me???
Thanks for the info, do I also need distributor cap, fuel filter,etc...are those easily done by non-mechanic?

tune up parts for that car which has a 3.5 engine are easy to install spark plugs are 2.00 a piece but the wires are about 75.00 I would have FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER do it it only takes about 15 minutes on that car
