Which way should my port & subwoofer face in my truck?

Should I face them towards the celling or the back of the truck or down?
Do the seats/padding suck up the bass or does it cut resonance?
What was should I face the port?

my friend had his pointing toward the front but after he pointed them to the ceiling is sounded much better

Since yo have a truck it is not going to matter one bit. In a car that is a different story though.

I don't use ported subs but I've found facing them towards the boot gave the best, loudest sound. There's too many variables to say for sure which would be best, if you ask me.
