I have this badass kenwood 9103D amplifier.
i paid $300 for it. and it puimps 900W RMS at 2 ohms
well im a noob (only 16) and this is my first system. i was movin the amp, and it fried. i tried it in two diff cars and then i put my dads amp in my car and it turned on. i mailed it in.
im gettin it soon and would like to know how i fried it
i did not pull fuse, but it typically doesn't blow. was it because the ground was not secure?
which wire do i need to take off my dads amp first and which wire do i need to put on my amp first. thanks!
being bass-less sucks
i would love to not fry another amp

LOL! Dont unhook your battery undo the ground first and then the power and put the power in first and then the ground if you do it the other way aroudn it will spark. Although the order you put them in has nothing to do with why you fried your amp. Im sure you had the ground and power touching and it fried the amp or you put the wires in the wrong place or a wire touched the amp or one of the wires that it was not supposed too... For your next amp make sure you do not let other wires touch the amp or the wires and make sure you plug them into the right place and for sure make sure your ground and power dont touch other wise you will have the 4th of july in your car. Just prevent all this from happening and you will be fine.

un hook the door, then the battery. trust me, the door is a ground which means it will blow the engine

I suggest you unhook the battery itself, take the ground off. Then you hook up whatever you want on your amplifier and groudn it as well.
