The jeep dealership says I need to clean my engine, fuel injectors and such. I don't know much about this, but they said it will cost 180 bucks. A small mechanic place told me they would clean the engine and flush it out and such for only 60 bucks. So my question is, can I do this? Can I use mechanics who arn't jeep-authorized or would it void my warranty? I want to save money, but it would suck if my engine blew up 2 years from now, but jeep won't honor my warranty because I allowed other mechanics to do service on it.
