to let us know what could happen in the world if we continue abusing our environment..the story is totally from the bible.

Why watch every Armageddon movie when you can watch a single Armageddon movie with all the dangers rolled into it?

Those movie-makers are so mindful of our busy schedules, they must be the most considerate people on the planet... but not for long if you believe them :p
 
Generally, its for entertainment only. I just wonder that many people believed that this will happen. After all, the producers succeeded in making profit out of it.
