Who do you contact when you've been scammed with fake DVD's?

I just bought a bunch of DVD's online from an individual that were supposed to be "like new".. Regardless, I was expecting to get the actual DVD that I paid almost full price for. If people want to make copies, keep them for themselves and sell the original. I'm really pissed off because that's really cheap. I don't care if you copy them for yourself, but don't try to give them to me like they are real. I was wondering if anyone knew who I can contact to shut this f***** down. Thanks!
Well, it was actually bought through an individual through Amazon. The description on each DVD that I bought just says that the DVD case and artwork are in very good condition. Amazon has no place for selling copies of DVD's. It's illegal to sell them, so whether I get my money back or not, I want to report him/her. Sell them on ebay and actually tell people they are copies. Ya feel?
 
Try contacting the person and ask for your money back. If they say no, read the description of the item. If it explains what you were given then you can't do anything, if not then contact the site you bought it for. If all else fails you can report piracy with the MPAA.

My neighbor bought a huge collection of a 1960 TV series thinking he was getting new copies. He didn't know it (when he ordered them through the Internet) but the whole collection came from China and turned out to be badly burned copies of each dvd. He ended up getting $100 in return (he paid over $250) and kept all the nasty dvds. He was livid. He was offered the process of sending everything back for a full refund, but didn't want to get involved with such slippery characters. He chalked it off as a lost $150.

I wonder if the Better Business Bureau could help you?
