Who has Verizon Fios?

That depends on the apartment building. If the entire complex has a contract to install FIOS then no you will not get your own ONT, there are specific ONT's for that purpose. If you have your individual choice of your provider then yes you will get your own ONT. The box is about 12"x12" and will need a dedicated AC outlet for the battery back up unit (BBU). We usually install the ONT in a closet or behind a piece of furniture that you would not typically move. You can talk to the tech that is sent out to install your FIOS before he/she starts the install on where would be the best placement for the ONT. They are very accommodating.

I am planning to get Fios but I live in an apartment complex. I learned that the technician must install an Optical Network Terminal (ONT), which is a huge box! I don't have room for that in my apartment. Does each individual apartment install a box? Or is there one central box for the entire building?
