Though I'm a die-hard Yankee fan, I gotta say that Ellsbury has transformed into a slugging monster this year. Where the hell did he get that power from? Anyway, he's the MVP in my book (biased aside).

As for the NL, Kemp has to be the top candidate. He's tearing it up for the 3rd place Dodgers.

Ellsbury definitely made his case tonight. If they don't make the playoffs, I think he's not winning it. Kemp will probably win it in the NL

Kemp and Ellsbury are who I think should win it. Both are complete players, with each having 30 homers and 30 steals, with Kemp having a chance for a 40 40 year and a triple crown. However, I think Braun and Verlander will end up winning

I completely agree with you, Ellsbury is something else this year...man.
And to the guy that said Verlander, that's what the Cy Young is for, though he does deserve MVP.
