My personal Favorites in preferential order.
No.1 Husky Harris
Nobody has stood out more than Husky Harris. I just really like his attitude & he is conceded with it, he has this arrogant look but lacks the normal charisma that normally would compliment it; Husky is just as effective without said charisma. And he is also very good in the ring. In my mind, he has the full package.
No.2 Kaval
Okay, it's pretty obvious to me that WWE really likes Kaval & let me explain why.
With a open mind, placing Kaval with Lay-Cool was the best thing that could have happened to Kaval.
Kaval wearing the pink shirt, having his frown turned upside down, making him hold the women's title and belt is seriously good for Kaval.
Kaval is excellent in the ring, so why would he need a pro in that department? He doesn't.
Lay-Cool presents Kaval with a personality, a character that is essential for a successful career in the WWE.
The reason why Kaval is my no.2 is because how Kaval is handling it. What a professional!
Of course his in ring wrestling needs no further comment.
I don't think Kaval is doing himself any favors by always talking about his heart....
No.3 Michael McGuillicutty
Putting his 5-0 winning streak to 1 side, he is very solid in the ring. He's my no.3 because I don't think he is standing out as much as he maybe should be. Tho he does make up for any lack of character with his other attributes.
no.4 Alex Riley
I did not immediately like Riley, I felt that he wasn't as good as his original vignettes were making him out to be. Over the last couple weeks, I think he is starting to back up his hype with his in ring work. Character wise, he is on the button. So long as he continues to back it up, I think he has a very bright future.
no.5 "Showtime" Percy Watson
I think he has the right attitude & he "gets it"
Watson is one who seems to shuffle a little each week with me. His Over the top approach to promos are entertaining but I feel it's just a character he can switch on & off because when he stops smiling he gives off a angry look immediately after wards smiles again.
He would have been ranked higher with me except I don't know how genuine he is from a character stand point.
Mediocre wrestler with a couple high moves.
no.6 Lucky Cannon
The most boring NXT rookie imo. His wrestling is pretty good but nothing special. Does his name suggest that if he wins, it's only because "he got lucky?" Personally, I can't get behind anybody who is lucky in the WWE. It's more like he's like a glorified jobber like Barry Horowitz. Just my personal intake from him.
(I know that Eli Cottonwood has been eliminated and rightfully so but I want to say how I think John Morrison has benefited more from his NXT run with Eli that Eli ever did.
Eli's lame promos about mustaches & his clumsiness on the obstacle course really brought out a side in Morrison that we haven't seen before. It was like he was genuinely embarrassed yet it's that that I think is partly responsible for Morrison's recent slightly change of look.)
