I have a Suzuki so i'm on the Suzuki side..and my buddy has an Yamaha. I'm not a racer so we never raced before..but what bike do you think is better Yamaha or Suzuki? from 600cc and up... as far as speed wise, and quality
I'm fairly new female rider so i'm not really focused on racing..

They both make high quality machines. Why don't you and your buddy get out on an open road and race?

go racing on a closed course, or watch some racing, im on the suzuki side

Like everyone has said they're all pretty much equal in technology and quality and only vary in ergonomics and cosmetics and style. It boils down to personal preference. I, however, favour BMW then Suzuki.

They are both compareable. Yamaha and Suzuki have topped the AMA sportbike charts for years. Yamaha, however seems to be adding more tehnology into their bike designing, while Suzuki's technology is pretty much the same, with only minor changes and cosmetic overhauls. I think it all boils down to who can ride the bike better.

It boils down to personal opinion and my opinion is for a touring bike Yamaha. For a sport bike, Suzuki.

It all depends on the year and model. No manufacturer is best at everything all the time. My current favorite is the Yamaha R1 2009-2010 model. Unbelievable bike.
