All I can say poor bloody snake having a big fat rabbit come and attack it.
 
Rabbits can be tough fellers. They DO come with claws, and they will fight when they think it's necessary. Most of my scratch-scars have faded by now, but not completely.

When I was about 8 years old, I reached into a rabbit cage to pet the "cute bunny". Well, that "cute bunny" sank that front tooth all the way through my finger. Some lessons are very painful.
