who wrote the book around the world in seventy days?

There does not seem to be a book called "Around The World In Seventy Days" but there is a website called http://www.around-the-world-in-70-days.com/ and the guy who made that site has written a book, but it's called "Beyond Freedom Fries". Also it seems to be about his trips to America. He has traveled around the world, but it took 3 years, not 70 days.
There are also a few other websites with the title Around The World In Seventy Days, one of which looks to be about a tour that was taken by a group to travel the world by plane in 70 days. You can find all of them by doing a Google search for "Around The World In Seventy Days".
I hope this has been helpful in helping you find the source you were looking for. I'm sorry that I didn't catch the name of the guy from Beyond Freedom Fries, but it is on the front page of his website.

Was the book "Around the World in Seventy-Two Days"? Is so, the author was Nellie Bly, who was inspired by Jules Verne's novel "Around the World in 80 Days".

The French author, Jules Verne, wrote "Around the World in 80 Days." I've never heard of "Around the World in 70 Days."

If you mean Around the World in 80 Days, I think it was Jules Verne. Never heard of 70 days.
