Whoops: Law & Order Game Pulled From British Shelves

The naughty game news just won't stop today. First...yeah, you know about the other one, but did you know that one of the Law & Order game has also been pulled from British shelves? Well it has.
There's a scene in the game, Law and Order: Double or Nothing, where in the background a photo is stuck to the wall. Said photo is a famous/notorious one, as it's the CCTV shot of murdered British toddler James Bulger being led out of a shopping centre by his killers back in 1993. Bulger's mum is not happy:

Using that terrible picture of James as part of a game is sick. It dehumanises the memory of my lovely son. To use him in a game is below contempt.
The game's British publisher, Global Software, have withdrawn the title from sale while developers Legacy Interactive, who have apologised to Bulger's mother, will remove the offending photo from all future copies of the game. In their defence, it looks like they've only used the pic as part of the background, not as part of the game's plot, but let this serve as a lesson to developers everywhere that a Google Image search sometimes requires a little background-check.
