whts the best way to make my plecostemus get bigger?

i AVE TWO PLECOSTEMUS N IVE HAD THEM FOR 4 MONTHS BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO GROW WHT CAN I DO TO GET THEM BIG FAST I HAVE A 90 GALLON TANK BT THEY DONT GROW. WHY?

give them zuccini! they love it and mine grew quick on it!

I thought those grow pretty fast if you just feed them well. My dad had a large tank like that and had one grow to 14" long. He had to donate it back to the pet shop because it was getting too big. He fed it algae discs that you buy at a pet shop.

The need the proper food supplements to grow large. Algae Discs are a good choice, but they will also feed on baby shrimp.

My Pleco started off at about 4" when I got him 2 years ago, now he's about 12''.

there are different species of the fish. so, the growth isn't only determined by the tank size but also by the type of plecostomus.
