Why all the whining about evolution/big bang?

I mean, for what it's worth, if you think you can disprove evolution, big bang, or anything scientific for that matter, go and present this startling "evidence" at a national science conference or in a peer-reviewed, published article.

How come none of you have done this?
People - You obviously aren't aware that sound scientific theories are falsifiable, meaning, the authors admit the potential faults of the theories and how they could be proven wrong. That's why Darwinian evolution is so strong, it has weaknesses, but no one has been able to falsify it for 151 years.

Evolution could be proven false (as it must be in order to be scientifically valid). All it would take is for part of the fossil record to be out of temporal sequence. This (almost certainly) will never happen - but it is possible.

It's NOT a matter of disproving evolution or the big bang...it's a matter of proving it. I'll stand with what's tried and true and go ahead and believe what the Bible says about it all.

you can show people evidence they refuse to believe

its a logical fallacy to assume something is fact because some one presents a theory and every one agrees that is what appears to have happen.

The reason why no one disproves evolution is for there is no evidence. You can't lose what you never had.

Disproving something requires a logical proof. There is no logical proof against it so it won't be done.
Also, most of the people who disagree with it are monotheistic. If you are a monotheist then you have chosen to give up reason/logic therefore they could not construct a logical proof against it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's been done at several conferences, ergo the notion that these are "theories".

In RESPONSE: ...nor has anyone been able to show an example of the one area of the evolutionary theory that is scrutinized: the idea that a simple celled organism can "evolve" into a complex one.
