Why are girls not interested in topics like space science?

That's a sweeping generalization that simply isn't true. There are many famous women that have made significant contributions to astronomy, astrophysics, & cosmology. There are also many men that are famous chefs, musicians, & artists.

That is true of some girls/women and some guys as well. Other girls/women (like me) and guys ARE interested in space science.

Making sweeping generalisations about what one particular gender is or is not interested in doesn't help anyone.

There are a lot of women who are very interested in astronomy. The problem is, you're looking for them at the clubs and pubs every clear night, when they are outside looking at the night sky.
