Why are my friends refusing to introduce me to a girl I like?

K so my best friends are friends with a girl I like. The girl is one year younger and very attractive, so I'm trying to find the least creepiest way to introduce myself. I've asked my best friends to introduce me, and at first they agreed. but when the time came, they suddenly refused to do it. In fact I asked some of my good friends to do it, but they did the same and gave me the same response; "you've got to do it on your own dude" Keep in mind they are friends with this girl. Why do they agree at first, but refuse to do it? If my best friend wanted me to introduce him to someone, I would gladly do it, but why not me?
also the reason why I won't do it myself is cause I have a terrible reputation with girls. With 11 rejections I unknowingly destroyed my reputation. Basically if I talked to a girl they would immediately think that I am weird (trust me, this is 100% true, even if they don't know me at all) so I don't want to do that. Should I force my friend to do it?

Maybe they know something you don't know and they won't tell you.
And don't force him to do it, I think it's lame when guys ask me through friends, doesn't show enough confidence

1. She has herpes.
2. She's pregnant
3. She has a boyfriend and they don't want to tell you.
4. They are worried about her, don't want you anywhere near her.
5. They are just playing games.

You can't force your friends to do it...

Sorry, but it looks like you're on your own. If she's really that important, you'll have to suck it up and do it yourself. Unless your friends change their minds, which they probably won't.

if u dont even no her dont throw urself at her and ask her out. trust me im a girl. get to know her say hi maybe or compliment her. thats not creepy, its just being nice. girls love to be complimented. nice shoes or something along those lines. maybe just smile at her. once she kind o knows who you are and you know her better you should formoly into urself

okay im a girl that LOVES shy guys.. :) i love emo guys they are so quiet but then when u learn more about them its like they say so much with out actually saying that much.. and if u really like her just be really friendly and go to her and be really friendly but dont act stupid....... even though i must admit its so cute when they get all nervous.. haha sorry but just be nice and attempt to strike up a conversation like by at least saying something like have u seen_____ ? like one of ur friends that are hers too..BTW BE URSELF!!! good luck!!!
