Why are my pictures on LG Renoir KC910 camera rather blurry?

I am aware that my phone apparently has 8 megapixels, but most of the pictures I take using it are blurry, and no, my hands are not especially shaky. I have even tried turning on image stabilization, but still the pictures are not as sharp as what I expected, or as what the website shows. It seems that my 5-megapixel camera actually takes better pictures.

Am I doing something wrong? Please help!
 
Its possible that it could be your lighting. A camera phone is not really going to have all the settings a stand alone camera has. Chances are your phone is not at a high enough iso in low light situations. You say that your hands are not especially shaky, but there are only really two ways pictures come out blurry, shaky hands or low iso pictures taken in low light.
