I am 14 years old, under 100 pounds, and i am 5'5''. I am a cross country runner and my shins have been acting funny. I don't think they are shin splints. But there are my symptoms:
My shins hurt when I run slow but don't hurt when I run a little faster.
My shins feel slightly bumpy when I put slight pressure on them and move my hands down.
They are slightly tender, but no to tender. They hurt after I go up stairs at school.
I have been icing every night, any ideas what is going on? And any suggestions? Any questions? I will be on for awhile, I will post when I am offline.
Thanks! Kelsea. ?
