Why are some people whining about a possible gas tax holiday?

Some people are saying "I'll only save half a tank".

So? Would you rather they increase gas taxes? I'm confused. Even if you don't save that much, it's still better than nothing.
I'm sure those who work in the transportation industry, farming industry, those who drive long distances to work and those who have VERY tight budgets would disagree with you.
 
I agree with Elle.

If you have a problem with a tax break you can donate all that extra money you must have to the IRS.
 
I guess some are concerned about the national debt. If they are so worried about it, I guess they could send in a big fat donation to the IRS. I'll be happy to get a gas tax holiday. :)
 
CAUSE THEY'RE RICH AND OUT OF toach i mean if a gas station has 10 cents off from the other one wouldnt u go to that station that next to the other one, and ic 18 cents is a lot of money so fuck them am tried of obama and his supports saying no what happen to him saying there are no partys
