Why are the Christians here so unacademic in their approach to their religion?

I asked a question about the Virgin Birth and hardly any of them responded. I suggest they didn't because they couldn't. Historically, we know there were many virgin birth stories, including one about Caesar. Historians also know much of what we read in the Gospels were written forms of protest, but it takes study to understand what components constitute the lower criticism we need in order to handle the text in an academic manner. What historically and hermenuetically sound argument can evangelical Christians offer in defense of a literal interpretation of the Birth Narrative?

Friend, I saw your question. I can give you academic answers all day, but most of my answers get deleted from the mischief of "reporters" And I see no need to answer you. It will mean nothing to your apparent disregard and disrespect toward the Holy one. I just am not interested.
Another thing: Most "Christians" on this site belong on sesame St.
Some are wolves..who attack my questions more than sensible "nonbelievers" do.
This too will get reported, because I am about to say "slimeball. Here goes:
To those who believe they evolved from slime I compliment them by calling them slime ball. I get reported. Go figure.
