Ron Paul, myself and many others simple agree with these men yet we are ridiculed and they are praised. History makes hero's and artists while present day ignores them and ridicules them.

They are ridiculed also. They are dead white males, so they don't count.

The p.c. order starts with black lesbians and works through the races finally down to white women. White men are not even on the list.

White men don't count because they don't have anything to pity. We've worked and fought hard to advance so much as we can (not that others haven't). We just haven't whined and complained every chance we see an advantage to that. Our wheels haven't squeaked because we kept them in order and we were raised to expect responsibility.

Boy, what suckers we are.

I too am libertarian but I recognize it is an ivory tower philosophy, as are the socialist philosophies. All of them require too much from their societies. Most humans aren't willing to consistently cooperate with the requirements of any of them.

Mostly because people have no idea what those guys really believed. They just assume that the Founding Fathers believed as they believed, without actually knowing what they really believed.

Quite a number of them were critical of Christianity, yet how many Christians ask God to bless them? Many of them believed that this country would not last, and in fact one of them (Jefferson) recommended that we revolt every 75 years or so.

And while Ron Paul has good ideas, they cannot be implemented. He only takes into account how the Capitalist system is supposed to work, and does not take into account the human factors. We cannot handle the consequences of Capitalism, one of the reasons we have gone so much to Socialism already.

We couldn't deal with all those people and children on the street; many of them there because they were mangled up in factory accidents (children included), and no way to get medical help because Capitalism does not really account for that if the businesses don't feel like paying for it. We couldn't deal with the Great Depression, a direct result of Capitalism, and repeatedly voted in FDR because he eased the effects of the Great Depression using Socialist ideas.

Ron Paul is very intelligent, and for the record is right. Doesn't matter. What is right doesn't always work, because humans don't always accept the consequences of what is right.

The founders would be in a military prison and classified as Enemies of the State if they were alive today. Paul and his supporters are walkin on thin ice...the Constitution has little authority in a court of law these days.

Executive Order 13037 states that we are nothing but "Human capital".

Executive Order 12803 states that every thing in the United States is for sale: roads , bridges, schools, hospitals, water , prisons, airports, national parks, etc
