Why can i only access the internet with my firewall off?

I have Norton Personal firewall, and the only way I can connect to the internet is by disabling the firewall, which i dont feel completely safe with.
I've made no changes to IP addresses or my Norton firewall restrictions or anything of the sort, this is all sudden
I dont know what to do, but I dont want to have to disable my firewall all the time to get on the internet, it negates its purpose
 
Maybe the protection you have set is too strong.Just use windows firewall.
 
check the settings, maybe the firewall is set to block the internet. usually internet will be set into exceptions but maybe it isnt for you
