Why can I pick up on childrens emotions but not adults?

I am very intuitive when it comes to children. I have an 100% rate of guessing if your baby will be a boy or a girl. I have guessed many times and have yet to be wrong. If a child feels a certain way or is stressed (yes children can have small moments of stress) or something is wrong I pick up on it right away. On the other hand when it comes to adults(im 20 yrs. now) or teens I am so lost. You can be angry at me but unless you start yelling at me or ignoring me to extremes or unless you tell me I will never really know. If a guy tries to pursue me, he can send me all the signals he wants, I won't be able to read him unless he is more blunt and obvious or just tells me. How can I be more aware of people my own age? Also, how come my intuition is so strong when it comes to children but not adults?
 
because adults have had years of practice hiding their feelings.. if a kid doesn't like you then it's obvious... because they say it or their expression is obvious. It really doesn't seem to me like you're that intuitive. I picked that up just by reading your text
 
Adults have learned to wear masks, the kids haven't been taught yet. They'll learn don't worry.
Adults use masks for survival, for instance at work, to not get fired or cause drama.
You might be many a man's dream come true, many of us prefer to speak bluntly and communicate directly.
 
Children are usually honest, almost to a fault. It's really easy to understand them because they speak to you both on an emotional and physical level that's really basic. In fact, it would be pretty hard NOT to understand a child's feelings, since they're always so willing to share them.

Coincidentally, that's probably the reason you can't understand adults: they're much less willing to share their feelings openly, since society calls for them to cover them up to a certain degree. Having someone else read your emotions immediately would be like them telling you you're not very professional or mature, so people go out of the way to be harder to understand as they get older.
 
I consider that a great spiritual gift.... and a blessing. Children are so wonderfully innocent and pure and adult emotions so complex and screwy....
 
my best guess is that ur natural instincts r towards children. a lot of people have a hard time realizing other peoples emotion nothing wrong with that

and just because other people my find it easy too doesn't me that it isn't a gift. For alot of people it is a hard thing to tell wat a child is feeling so i think ur special!
