Why can't i breathe if there is cigarette smoke around?

i am 14 and my parents don't believe me
Sometimes they smoke in the car and sometimes the smoke comes out of the kitchen and comes into my room and i can't sleep or breathe and i am turning red at the face....
Do i have something?
 
Hey I am in the same situation, my chest gets tight, can't breathe, I almost passed out, and I sometimes go to the hospital for it. No inhalers help me. I had to take a methocoline challenge test for it, to see if I had asthma, it proved negative. I went to see a special lung doctor for it. But with me, even if someone is smoking from like 50 yards away outside, I can't breathe. It gets worse with continued exposure. Talk to your parents, it is a real condition...but I still don't have a diagnosis either. Be concerned! You can't keep getting exposed or you could be like me someday. A wet washcloth over your face can filter out the smoke, go to the hospital if you have to, they can give you oxygen or a breathing treatment (take food after, makes you shaky). Get help.
