I have a voicemail greeting that I would like to change. I want it to only answer with the voicemail saying something generic, and me saying my name, then the rest of the greeting, "leave a message after the beep" or ssomethingof that nature. It would be better than my dorky voice saying, "hi, sorry I can't come to the phone..." etc.
So, I went to my voicemail, picked the option that I wanted, recorded me saying my name, then I pushed pound like it told me. Then it went right to the menu of voicemail greetings. I pushed star to end the session, then called from my house phone to see what it sounded like, and it was my original greeting. I tried it 3 more times, and it still didn't work. Any idea what's going on?
