why can't i download any torrents?

I have been trying to download some things but torrent for some reason just isn't working anymore..

everything stays at the infinite stage, all the connections fail or time out..any ideas?

US shut down many of those yesterday.
Many of them had scarware, malware on them.

Most clients should have a status bar that will tell you any problems you might be experiencing, if it says everything is working properly then chances are there's nobody seeding
