Why cant i download divx for stagevu?

I have a macbook, and numerous times i have downladed and 'successfully' installed divx, but everytime i go to stagevu to watch a film, it tells me i dont have divx. Do i have to install it on a disk???
 
You need to install the Divx Webplayer for Mac:
http://divx-web-player.en.softonic.com/mac
 
You MIght BE DOwnloadINg Windows Divx verion .. search for mac divx
