Why can't i use sport boots and bell boots at the same time?

i have a pair of sport medicine boots for my tennessee walker, size mediums, and a pair of pro. choice bell/overreach boots in large. i can't seem to fit the sport boots and the bells together. separate they fit fine, but they don't fit correctly together. the bells won;t wrap around and velcro cause the overlap the sport boots. any help on this?

Try using bandages instead of medicine boots.
