...hygiene and good sleeping habits? Why did have to be taught this in school? Were they too stupid and had lazy parents?

In my school all we learned was sex education, liberal politics, evolution and human rights abuses in the Middle East at the hands of our country.
My country = USA.
 
because in those years parents were more concentrated with their children and parents have a much better outlook of family life. now i ask you this. what made you believe communism is a better ideology, and atheist a better religion?

Anyway, we're still taught this stuff now. They hope by teaching the kids this the parents wil follow, problem is, they won't it will only lead to a clash between parent and child. If not then, nothing is ever accomplished because the teachers teach this stuff but the parents either can't afford proper food or hygene, they don't care if there kid stays up till midnight, they don't care if there kid has sex, basically, both parents and teachers need to work together to get this to work.
