Derrick rose rookie stats: 16.8ppg 6.3 assits 22%3s 78% free throws and 3.9rebounds
O.J Mayo rookie stats: 18.5ppg 3.2 assits 38%3s 88% free throws and 3.9rebounds

so how exactly did Derrick Rose win, when O.J Mayo stats were clearly better? Also O.J Mayo was the 2nd option on his team after Rudy Gay?

Rose was in a larger market that the NBA wanted to promote. Looking back at it, the right choice was Rose, but ur stats are very interesting!
