Why did Liberals all-of-the-sudden care *SO* much about the well-being of Iraqi

citizens? Why is it they are just so concerned with the safety and well-being of the citizens of Iraq today, yet we heard nothing from them back in the 80's and 90's when Saddam was murdering them by the hundreds of thousands, if not millions?

That is because the US President now is a Liberal.
When the Liberals did not have the Presidency, they could ignore the horrors of Saddam's Iraqi dictatorship.
Now it is much harder.
[sigh] politics is so sad.

I hadn't heard that they did. They are/were against the war in Iraq and felt very strongly that we should not have gotten rid of Saddam. I haven't heard anything different from them.

Of course now that the Iraqi people are voting without any violance I guess maybe they understand that what Bush did was the right thing to do. I doubt it though.

The dragon: That don't make sense as they had a President in office during that time - Clinton who didn't care and even let Ben laden get away.
