I've gone through two mice recently. Both had the same issues. Software installs fine. No OS compatibility issues. Everything should be working properly. Yet, after about 10 minutes of use, the mice both start lagging horribly, sometimes not even at all. My newer, mouse from Microsoft doesn't lag if I put it directly on top of my PC, but if I put it on my wooden desk, not even a foot over the PC and the mouse's receiver, it starts lagging. I'm at wits end here as I can't even use my PC for basic functions half the time.
Has anyone else found solutions to this? I've seen mentions of getting a USB extension cable and then using that to make the receiver point straight up, but I've yet to try that. IMO, I shouldn't even have to since these mice are supposed to work fine at even further distances than what I'm using them at.
