...all that atheism means is? I DON'T BELIEVE IN A 'god' OR IN ANY 'gods'?
@TAG.. no problem. I have looked for credible evidence for the existence of a 'god' or 'gods' for decades and found nothing that could not be explained by science. So, as I have no evidence to build a platform of faith, I choose not to believe.

If you've been in this debate for a while you'll realize that facts and logic don't really enter into their statements.

You really should be able to provide a convincing "argument" as to why you DON'T BELIEVE IN A 'god' OR IN ANY 'gods'.

Have a go.

they don't realize that the reason we don't believe in god is the same reason they don't believe in zeus

Put another way, PROVE God does NOT exist,
PROVE that Christ is NOT who He is, and all He said He is,
PROVE their position.

If you say you don't believe in any god or gods then that is only your opinion, but when atheists state absolutely that there "is" no god or gods then they have to prove their claim as this is an absolute truth "statement." The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence, etc. They would not only have the "burden" by making the statement, to prove that there is no god but also that there could never be an all powerful god or semi-powerful demigods. If they can't, which they can't, because you can't prove a negative, it means that there is "always the possibility" that they're wrong and God is real. Faith is reserved for the religious, not the atheist since they "emphatically and without reservation" reject the supernatural, the miraculous, i.e. that god or god's exist. If the atheist cannot utilize the scientific method to prove their claims then their claims are purely ideological, not scientific.

I guess for the same reason 'atheists' try to demand 'evidence of/for Christianity' from Christians when all Christianity means is I BELIEVE IN A 'God'.

I don't demand evidence for atheism, I'm here to help you understand that God is real.

They think our opinions are "wrong" so they want to know why so they can "fix" them. Luckily they rarely succeed
