I am trying to install a pair of 130w off road lights on my 88 4runner. I am using the supplied wiring kit and 50amp relay to wire it up. I used my radio's 12v switched power to power my switch but when i try to turn it on it blows my radio fuse. I'm thinking I overloaded the fuse, so could I install an inline fuse onto the 12v line just before it meets to my radio's 12v switched power? What other reasons can be causing the fuses to blow? I have no exposed wires and I'm sure the sent wiring harness is thick enough.
