...because your SO has money? when you've turned them down repeatedly, and then they find out you have a SO who makes good money, why do they automatically assume that you're a gold digger?
 
Those particular guys hated rejection. They had no basis in which to assume that you're a gold digger except as a convenient excuse to assuage their egos. Not all men are that insecure.
 
Who cares. I love my gold digger wife. She quit working shortly after we married. But I got over it when she is so hot and sexy for me. Besides, I earn more than we need.
